But most importantly, you missed an energetic performance by Rasheed, including one of his newer tracks and three Dope House classics; every person there knew the songs, and it was very encouraging to see the crowd's reaction.
I was able to pass out some cards with the blog address and talk to a few people about the case. I really want to urge you to get out there and spread the word; people want to hear about this and you're helping them by pointing them to this blog, where they can find SPM's take on it.
Here's a few things I picked up at the show...
The kid I talked to who was selling these CDs was very enthusiastic about the blog; check out their music on Facebook & support local artists.

I didn't ask; I figure if Dope House doesn't know for sure, there's no point in asking the artists.
HOWEVER, in Coy's latest letter he expresses a desire to start a "Quick Updates" feature and the first one, according to him, deals with the possible August 21st release date.

I agree with you there; it would be better to be told "Not for another two years" then get fake dates over and over. Don't let yourself hear what you want to hear; if SPM says 'tentative release date', forget the 'release date' and focus on the 'tentative.' That means it's not set in stone, but also indicates that they're working on it.
My policy is, don't plan on seeing it until the publicity starts; snippets released, the army mobilized, etc.
Dope house said august is out of the question but said there trying September or later on but they did said It's up to Carlos to give them the go to drop it so can u send this to sp and tell him to drop it as soon as possible. Thank you

No. He won the civil case. Which is fucked up cause usually you win one u win the other. You lose one you lose hem both. Which makes the judge and da look more suspect. How tall are you anyway incandesio? Our beautiful by the way.

The civil case started out with the assumption Coy was guilty; it was not possible to 'win' it. However, even though the jury had to give the family something because Coy was considered guilty(25k), they refused to give them anything for 'pain and suffering'.
