Randolph Arledge

In 1984, Randolph Arledge was sentenced to 99 years for the brutal murder of Carolyn Armstrong. This February he was freed on bond as he waited to have his conviction overturned. Hair fibers, preserved for thirty years, led to his exoneration, as well as an eye witness who admitted lying because of a ‘personal dispute’ with Arledge.

His children were 4 and 7 when he was incarcerated; now grown, you can see them describe the heartbreak they suffered here:

Navarro County District Attorney Lowell Thompson said authorities are searching for the person matched to the DNA and believe they know where he is. The case "will stay open until we solve it," he said in an interview.
While Thompson credited the system for freeing Arledge, he said he remained committed to finding Armstrong's real killer for her relatives.

This ABC article http://abclocal.go.com/ktrk/story?section=news/state&id=8988918 suggests that, since Arledge was incarcerated on an armed robbery charge at the time he was convicted, there are questions about how much financial compensation he’ll receive. The Texas Tribune has an interesting article about the amounts paid to exonerees here: http://www.texastribune.org/library/data/texas-exoneree-payouts/

The last article I saw on the subject was dated Feb 20, and I haven't heard anything more recent. There hasn't been any mention of him bonding out in the media, unfortunately.
