I mentioned on the blog that I've been writing to SPM, and that we've worked out a plan where y'all could send in questions about his case and he'll answer them here. It's taken awhile to set up; I sent several questions from myself and people who have worked with me on the blog and received his answers, along with a few excerpts from the upcoming book.
Here's how we're going to work it; Next Monday the first official answer from Coy will be posted. It will be in response to a question that I asked(a reserve answer). At that time, I'll post the blog's Email address and ask you to send in questions of your own. After one week, I'll go through and pick four of your questions and post them up in a poll on our facebook page. Everyone can vote for the question they'd like to see answered the most. After a few days of voting, I'll send the top two questions to Coy.
There may be some delay in the mail; that can't be helped. But there should be an answer from SPM every month for at least the next six months. Anytime his letters are delayed, I'll put up one of the reserve answers.
Now, there's no reason why you can't send your questions to him yourself; but if you have a great one, why not send it here so that everyone can see the answer? The point of this exercise is to make information about his trial public; to let people know what happened as seen through the eyes of Carlos Coy, not the corrupt DA's office of Chuck Rosenthal's time, or a newspaper with an axe to grind.

I believe SPM is a innocent man... Why is it taking to long for a new trial?
It's hard to get a new trial in Texas...Just because you can prove the first one was unfair doesn't mean you get a new one; In at least one case that I've written about, the President had to step in and tell the Texas courts to release an innocent man.
That's why we have to stay on this...So they know that we're paying attention and that we want change.
Say man I wanna send a letter to SPM! How can I do it?

I'm going to be collecting questions this Friday, then I take four and put them on Facebook where readers vote on the one they want to see answered; or, you can write it in the comments under the most recent post and it'll get sent to him, but he may or may not answer it.
been a fan of spm since i was 13 now im 25 and still jammin all his old cd's like there new.. his music never gets old.... free my boy... i feel like the rap game went soft when los got locked up.... im always constantly online hopeing to hear some new shit from my boy los.. was hella excited when i heard the new snippet.. man i hope that album drops soon... i need my fixin of that spm dope haha.... free my boy man i miss that nigga real talk.... be safe

Hi my Name is Ashley Beagle.....I myself also believe Carlos Coy is innocent. A friend named Johnathon Gaytan introduced me to SPM when I was probably 14 I've loved him every since. In school when allowed I did my research over him and wrote a few papers. I've read about pretty everything I can find on the web about him some true probably as well a false. I know that when I hear his new music and then here is old music its like wow.....He is so talented and helps me in ways that only a true artist can. In life I try to feel as less sorry for myself as possible because I believe it could always be worse. Not saying I don't throw myself pity parties but when they happen I turn my boy on and it reminds me that life could always be worse because in my heart I firmly believe that Carlos Coy was wrongfully accused. I have written him in prision a few times but have never received a response. It would make all my dreams come true to receive a letter from the person whom inspires me so much!!!!!!
